The Michigan Milk Messenger is the official publication of the Michigan Milk Producers Association, published monthly since June 1919.
The Michigan Milk Messenger covers association and industry issues as well as human-interest stories each month through editorials, news stories and features geared toward MMPA members.
The circulation of approximately 3,000 includes all MMPA members, milk handlers, milk haulers, university extension personnel, educators, agribusiness personnel and others interested in dairy marketing.
The Michigan Milk Messenger sells space for display ads, classified ads and member “freeliner” ads.

Advertisements may be submitted in digital format, via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org under the following conditions:
- The ad is a press quality PDF submitted by the closing date on the 10th of each month prior to publication.
- If full page ads are intended to bleed, include .125’’ beyond image area. See Full Page-Bleed page size in specifications above.
Advertisements must be submitted to email@example.com by the 10th of the month prior to publication.

Advertisers are encouraged to complete a planning form at the start of the year or indicate the intent to advertise in a specified month by the 1st of the month prior to publication.
Policies and Information
The Michigan Milk Messenger magazine is printed sheet fed offset, four color process on 80# paper using 175-line screen. Final trim size is 8.5” x 11” with color bleed available on all sides. The positioning of advertisements is determined each month by the editor. An advertiser may request a specific position in the magazine (i.e. back cover, inside front cover) for an additional 15 percent.
All advertising is subject to publisher approval and space availability. Contracts may be canceled by advertiser or publisher with written notice 30 days in advance of publication closing date. Advertisers will be billed for actual space used at cancellation time at lowest rate earned. Ads run without a specified insertion schedule will be billed at one-time rate until frequency rate is earned. At that time, a credit will be issued. Contracts must be completed within one year from date of insertion. A 15 percent commission is allowed to agencies. All advertisers are subject to credit approval. Advertising will be accepted only from advertisers whose MMPA accounts are current.
